Google Research reported the launch of three additional FireSat satellites with the Earth Fire Alliance and Muon Space. The constellation is designed to expand continuous wildfire coverage after a pilot demonstrated detection of small, low-intensity fires that existing satellites could miss. Google.org has supported the initiative financially.
